Crafting Your Solo: From Stage Zero to Draft One
August 8 - September 12, 2026
In this six-week intensive, students are guided from early iterative stages to a finished first draft of an original one act solo show.
Through a series of guided reflections, in-class exercises, homework assignments, and feedback sessions, students learn to create work while releasing limiting creative beliefs and blocks in a supportive, collaborative, peer-driven, workshop-style environment.

Miss America: Live in Nameless, TN!

Miss America Margaretann Clark returns to her hometown of Nameless, TN (population 250) to perform a long-awaited revival after 5 years of touring around the US. When she reveals the untold story of her pageant years, however, her family and the entire community erupts into a frenzy. As Margaretann grapples with the choice to defy societal expectations, will her truth set her free or cause her to be abandoned by all those who once adored her?

Hildeborg, a 350 year old Scandinavian vampire, has to turn someone into a vampire tonight, or else lose her immortality forever. To celebrate the occasion and find a suitable fledgling, she decides to host Miss Dancing Queen, a long lost traditional vampiric ball where mortals duke it out for the chance at immortality, and where she won her powers in 1672. But one guest on her list hasn’t shown up: her former lover, the vampire that turned her (and star of the supergroup ABBA), Bjorn Ulvaeus. Stuck with a bunch of randos, Hilde has no choice but to complete the traditional ceremony alone, or else lose her powers forever.
